Seeing this book in B&W we realized it took a completely different life of it’s own from the printed color comic. It was almost like an entirely different way to experience The Night Projectionist, which already harkened to the noir styled Creepy and Eerie horror books. So we decided to offer this “noir” look online. Enjoy!

This could be the next 30 Days of Night. -Fangoria

An impressive first issue and one I will be following as the series progresses. - Ain't It Cool News

Just as the story gets really good, the issue ends, leaving me wanting more. This slick, colorful comic is off to a good start for various reasons, not the least of which is that it’s not afraid to get its hands dirty. - Rod Lott, Bookgasm.com

This isn't your overly-sparse, content-lacking Steve Niles horror story of the modern era. Night Projectionist is as concept-driven as 30 Days of Night, but offers a far more charitable load of character, event, tone, and nuance. - Broken Frontier

"Night Projectionist" proves that for now until later on, the cream of the vampire movie crop will emerge from the comic/graphic novel universe and adaptations of it. - Horror Movies & Stuff

Heske's writing is nice and crisp... The dialogue feels natural and never clunky. He does an excellent job of setting up tension and subplots that will play out in the series itself. Artist Diego Yapura has an excellent style for this story. It has elements of old school EC Comics, while maintaining a modern feel. - Comics Bulletin
